Snow :)

The phone bell rang waking both of us at 7:40 am, G jumped of bed as he was late for work and I was half awake. "Get up! Snow", G called out, I rushed to the window rubbing my eyes and looked out of the window , I could see only white everywhere and everything was blur ..oh I forgot to wear my glasses :D.


I looked out from our balcony with glasses on and this time it was like a white sheet had covered everything. I just stood there, G came beside me and we just stood there for what seemed like an eternity (well actually it was just a minute or so then G had to hurry to get ready for work).


I went out and walked on snow for the first time :)... its as soft as cotton but the cold pricks you like needles. I made my first snow man, well a miniature version of one, with no nose and no mouth I was sure he will never fall ill in the cold ..hahaha ... I know terrible humour but just had to write it :).

Well G left for office and I dressed up in my suit of armour to battle the cold outside and went for a long walk. It was white everywhere and there was this lady with her kid trying to take a pic. I did my share of good deed today, took a nice mom-son pic for them. There were couples taking pics everywhere and kids making imprints on snow :)(well that includes me also :D).

The houses I used to walk in front of had totally changed, their imperfections were covered by a sheet of white clean snow. The green leaves on trees looked so fresh and there were red berries on some trees that looked like cherry on ice cream :).

It was a beautiful start to this wonderful day
and I would have it no other way (yeahhh! rhyme :D)

I used to keep wondering if it was a wrong decision to take a break from work but this was worth it, to sit back with a steaming cup of coffee, taking a deep breath and enjoying this marvel of nature. :)...Bliss.
